SonicWALL, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent network security and data protection solutions, today announced the appointment of SYSTEX Corporation (“SYSTEX” TSE ID: 6214) as a value added distributor for the Southeast Asian market. With the appointment, SYSTEX is now authorized to distribute SonicWALL products and solutions to customers in Southeast Asia, namely Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

In a recent note,[1] leading analyst firm Gartner stated that changing business processes, the technology that enterprises deploy and network security threats are driving new requirements. The next-generation firewall (NGFW) technology is set to meet these requirements.
Greg Young, research vice president at Gartner said, “We expect that by 2014, 35% of all enterprises will have installed a next-generation firewall with tightly integrated intrusion prevention and application visibility and control capabilities." [1]
In light of this, SYSTEX will look to meeting the demand for next-generation firewalls by offering its customers SonicWALL’s next-generation security platform and technology such as NSA E8510 and SuperMassive E10000 series.
