Chef Yogesh is a familiar face on Singapore’s culinary scene, having served the likes of President S. R. Nathan and many visiting Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee. He headed the kitchen at The Tiffin Room, Raffles Hotel, Singapore for over10 years, during which time he cooked for several heads of state. He has been featured in numerous TV shows, articles and on radio. Chef Yogesh’s fame also spread to an international level when he was invited to conduct cooking demonstrations at leading hotels in Australia, Japan and Europe.
India-born Yogesh uses his stellar abilities to whip up nourishing Indian dishes at Design A Cuisine – that are refreshing and taste much better than most Indian cuisine served in restaurants. His food is based on holistic principles and techniques that were taught to him by his Guru Sri Sri Poonamji, who has created numerous healing recipes.
Design A Cuisine has also been involved in a number of highly acclaimed projects. In January 2011, Design A Cuisine trained chefs at Carlton Hotel in holistic principles and cooking techniques. From 1 to 27 March 2011, Design A Cuisine set up the first ever North Indian kitchen at Swiss Club, a premium club in operation since 1927, as part of Indian food promotion. Cooking classes conducted there were highly appreciated by members and management. More recently, Design A Cuisine showcased its menu during a charity dinner for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra at Sentosa Golf Club, during which the food was thoroughly enjoyed and praised. Design A Cuisine’s Consultant Chef has been invited by Royal Plaza on Scotts hotel during the upcoming Singapore Food Festival from1st to 10th July 2011 to present his much raved about holistic dishes at its Carousel Restaurant.
