Dynamic, lifestyle portraiture brand, Essence Studios, invites everyone to experience this new-to-Singapore studio's style of photography for free, at the ION Orchard between the 28th May to 5th June.
A mini-studio will be set-up in ION Orchard B4 to enable shoppers to have a taster of what the proper experience would be like at the trendy 4500 sq ft studio, located on Killiney road, near Orchard. Shoppers who choose to step in front of the cameras, for just a few minutes, will take away an image and memory they can treasure or pass to a loved one as a gift.
Essence Studios' fresh, new style just landed in Singapore in 2010, turning traditional photography on its head. Unique in Singapore, they encourage a relaxed, playful environment where true family relationships and personalities can shine through. The team of professional photographers is led by award-winning, international Creative Director, Nathan King. 'I am really excited to be working with my team of photographers to give Singaporeans a truly interesting creative experience. Essence Studios has a very different approach to other photography studios in that we create individual, personalised art pieces that will transform people's living space – I know that I would only display really good quality work on my own walls and so we make sure we provide this for all our clients, no matter what their tastes.”
To celebrate this event, Essence Studios is also running an exciting competition on Facebook: where everyone who is photographed during the event will appear on Facebook and the owner of the image which receives the most 'likes' will be given a $1,000 voucher from Essence Studios.
Essence Studios opened its doors to the public in March 2011. The studios interiors were designed by hip local design firm Fide Living. Patrons can expect to be relaxed, entertained and inspired during their time in the studio. The photographers at Essence Studios specialise exclusively in portraiture so parents can rest assured that they have come to the right place for a family photo-shoot.
