Lou Ferrigno to head an all star speaker line-up at the 2011 National Achievers Congress in Singapore & Malaysia in May
Lou Ferrigno will travel to Singapore & Malaysia in May 2011 to head-up an impressive global speaker line-up at the 2011 National Achievers Congress. Now in its 19th year, the Congress is a platform for learning and development that over the years has presented former US President Bill Clinton, Robert Kiyosaki, Anthony Robbins, former Great Britain and Northern Ireland Prime Minister Tony Blair and many others to thousands of Singaporeans & Malaysians. The Congress, which takes place in Singapore and then in Kuala Lumpur several days later, generally attracts 6000-7000 delegates who spend three days learning from, and being inspired by, some of the world’s greatest leaders and entrepreneurs.
Lou Ferrigno will first speak at the National Achievers Congress in Singapore (20-22nd May) and then travel north for the Malaysia National Achievers Congress (27-29th May). A muscle-bound bodybuilder turned actor, Lou is an all time bodybuilding legend and actor of several hit shows - best known for playing the role of the raging green monster The Incredible Hulk. Lou also starred in over forty featured films and in two unforgettable performances in Hercules and The Adventures of Hercules; he lived a life-long dream by playing the legendary Greek hero.
It was as an infant that the future muscle man developed a debilitating ear infection that resulted in some notable hearing loss, though instead of viewing it as a disability, the driven youngster used the loss as a means to maximize his potential in other arenas.
At the age of 21, Ferrigno became the youngest contender ever to win the Mr. Universe title, and with a second consecutive win the following year, he became the only man ever to win the Mr. Universe competition two years in a row. This record still stands in the Guinness Book of World Records.
