Singapore resident, Nishant Kasibhatla, a Grand Master of memory will attempt to break the Guinness World Record™ by memorizing 162 colours consisting of Red, Blue, Yellow & Green shown in random sequence. The current record is held at 40 colours and was achieved a decade ago, in 2001 in Munich, Germany.
To qualify for the Guinness World Record™ in memory, Nishant will have to memorize more than 40 colours in random sequence and will have this history making event witnessed by a live audience.
Nishant Kasibhatla, a Permanent Resident of Singapore is a professional speaker and conducts training programs on memory improvement and peak mental performance via his training company Memory Vision Pte Ltd. In 2003, Nishant was the highest ranked Asian at the World Memory Championships.
When asked why he decided to go for breaking the world record, Mr Kasibhatla responded, “I have been utilizing the techniques of memorization for the past 15 years, achieving the title of Grand Master of Memory in 2003, so it seemed that this would be the natural progression to go for the Guinness World Record™ in memory”. “Although 40 is the current record, I chose 162 because it is a great challenge and forces me to be at the top of my game” he added.
